What strength training exercises can help me with volleyball.?

i want to try out for the volleyball team but i need some tips and exercises explanation. What kind of strength training and the exercise?

Like they all said squats are definitely good and so are lunges. You want to be in good shape so go for longer steady jogs and if you want short sprints would help too. Another important thing is to keep your shoulders, arms, and abs strong so you can hit well. Lift weights (they don’t have to be too heavy) do push ups, pull-ups work if you have gym access. Also crunches work to make your abs strong all you have to do is about 50 a day (more or less if that’s too easy or hard) and you’ll have ripped abs :) having strong abs realllllly helps your hitting so thats important. Good luck! Hope i helped!

Squats are probably the best exercise for most sports
It gives you more power and since much of your time will be spent in an athletic position (slightly squatting) or jumping, then squats will help you.

Ok your best bet would be to get out and run and do squats and running stadiums would help a lot to. it would get you in shape and your legs would be very strong. Also a great thing to do would get about a 10 pound weight and go up on your toes then back down that will make you vertical improve…. another great thing to do is ab workouts so you can have a strong mid section and be able to stay strong when you hit and block or even set or pass

    hope it helps

always practice the service… cause service is important… for noobs try not to use upper hand service, first use lower hand service… always release the ball when service… second try to catch some spikes… if you can… or try to receive the ball… always remember CONTROL THE BALL… ok the exercises, try 10 laps running i always do that to keep me warmed up, stretching works… and 2 on 2 volleyball play like ABC’s… make sense…

now my personal message to u! i’m so confused which one to pick… i have my own scene hair but i want something new… so watch your mouth honey… dnt judge if u dnt know what ur talking about…
